26 Weeks//Maui

I am a little behind on blogging from being out of town so much and being so busy!

I finally have a second to share a couple pictures from our trip to Hawaii:)

It was so fun! I couldn't do very many of the excursions or activities but who is going to complain about sitting on the beach and playing in the pool? I still had the best time ever. The one thing I could do was paddle boarding in the ocean with Mitch- but those pictures are on his phone so I will have to post them later. I'm so glad my sister in law Maddy thought to take a few!

I brought my camera along and only used it like one day! I was so sad. I didn't bring a camera bag or purse around and I didn't want it to get ruined by not being protected. So a lot of these pics are crappy iphone quality, but I am glad we at least have some memories of it all!

We got to our hotel late at night on Saturday. They are in condo form, and it was the perfect space for us to share with Paul, Makayla & Beckham!
The rest of the family got in the next day and were in other condos near ours.

We woke up the next morning and saw this amazing view!

During our trip everyone got to have some fun, like snorkeling:
They practiced in the pool and then headed out to the ocean. 26 weeks pregnant= photographer:)

And one morning the boys went on a hike and went repelling down a waterfall
How fun did that look?! That is on my list next time we go! I am glad Jeff took these pictures so we could see!

While they did that, the girls went to a way awesome aquarium. We saw all kinds of tropical fish and things, and ate a real yummy lunch afterwards

Cute sisters and even matching strollers?! love them

Cutie babies were entranced

Funny note.. this fish on the left is a frogfish?! It has a legit elbow and arm on each side!! haha so weird!!

Right after this picture on the left a stingray swam right over their heads:)
I love this picture of Beckham and Peggy on the right!

Not to mention how much I love these two! Look at those faces!!

Probably my favorite thing was when we were at the (yummiest) Luau, and watching my husband dance with this hula girl.. so funny!!!

I posted it on instagram -- here --, click to watch it. For some reason the video isn't uploading onto blogger.

He was literally having the time of his life! Haha!!

I got almost no pictures of the Luau because I was having a literal conniption- I thought I had lost my wedding ring. Long story short, I didn't, but I was so distracted by that. Sweet husband went all the way back to our hotel to look for it for me- he found it and brought it! I basically started bawling.

Then we found Heaven............ I have been craving shave ice (Utahns.. snow cones) for forever!! When we walked past this place the first time... I knew we'd be back at least 4 other times. And we so were. I. was. in. heaven.

They put coconut ice cream on the bottom, then the delish shave ice (always half piña colada/tigers blood for me) and then put cream on top.
Jefferson was a fan:) He couldn't even concentrate for a picture!

Then we saw this tree that we all thought was pretty cool- it is gigantic. It is called "The Banyan Tree". Ha I guess it trumps all others! We decided to get a few pics in front of it since I had my camera on me for once..

We had such a fun time. Even driving was enjoyable because of how beautiful everything was.

And the sunsets every night were perfect- we stayed on the west side of Maui so we were in the perfect spot for that!

We had Thanksgiving dinner there, and it was SO GOOD! It was a buffet right off the beach. Papa Beck really came through. I think my favorite part was the papaya cheesecake we had for dessert. Oh Thanksgiving dinner... a pregnant woman's dream:)

Here we are at dinner

I wish I had taken more pictures of this trip! I did a little better at our New York trip last week.  We had such a great time... we are feeling really blessed.

It has been so fun to do these things before baby comes.

On a baby side note, I am in the T H I R D   T R I M E S T E R  finally!!!! It has gone by SO fast.
We are in the middle of week 28!

I'll post the New York trip in a few days. Right now it is time to decorate for Christmas (I have never decorated this late for it! I should have done it before we left for Thanksgiving!!), and to catch up on some homework!

First Belly Photo//Cardiology Update

Okay so I have been asked to put up a belly pic for a while now, but as I mentioned a while ago, I am usually in scrubs and so it is hard to even see! Today I had the day off for my doctor's appointment so I am actually in normal clothes for once:

SO, I had my first appointment with the cardiologist today.

We learned a few things. First was that I have an abnormal skipping going on with my heart along with the tachycardia (heart rate will randomly jump way high). So thats awesome.

They said that there is basically one of two things going on.

1) the extra fast beating is originating in my sinus node of my heart, and that would be the normal part it should originate in- but it is just extra fast and skipping. But in the right place.

OR

2) it is supra ventricular tachycardia (SVT) which basically means that there is an extra electric current running through my heart though a loophole. Kind of hard to explain, but here is a good video if you're just so super interested:)

Scenario #1 is better than #2, but still not great that it gets so sped up. Basically, they said they would just chalk it up to pregnancy, and say that my heart just has a more difficult time dealing with the 50% more blood volume pregnancy brings. If this is the case, it should go away with pregnancy.

Scenario #2 basically means that depending on frequency of the tachycardia, I would have to take a medication that prevents my heart from having that electric loophole/tachycardia. They said if I do have SVT, it is likely I have always had this and it just was so minimal before I got pregnant that it was never noticed- just something pregnancy triggered. If it is really bad and it doesn't stop after my pregnancy is over, they do heart surgery (called catheter ablation) where they put this thing in place that blocks the abnormal electric loopholes/impulses.

So isn't that fantastic! haha. In order to determine which one it is exactly, they have to put me on a 30 day monitor. I will be able to do all my normal day to day stuff of work and school and everything, just be secretly hooked up to an EKG. Except of course it isn't so secret now that all of you know. Haha.

One bit of good news:
The doctor said I can wait to start it till the day after we get back from Hawaii though! OH my- SUCH a nice man! I am so grateful!!!

So that is the update for now for anyone who was curious:)

For the other part of my day, I did homework, cleaned the condo, went through and organized baby stuff, and went baby shopping with my mom. It was a real good day.

And look at these cutesy teeny tiny newborn bottles that really made me almost die:

Um to die, right??

Other than all this, I am so excited for the shower my cousin and I have this Saturday! Love my big Hansen family and seeing all my cousins:)

24 Weeks//Cardio

Baby Beck:
>> 24 weeks along
>> 11.81 inches long
>> weighs 1.32 pounds
>> the size of an ear of corn
>> 16 weeks left!

Not a ton has changed from last week feeling and craving wise. All pretty much the same!

However I have been diagnosed with a heart tachycardia/arrythmia. They hooked me up to a Holter monitor for 24 hours a few days ago, and we got the results back today- abnormal.

Basically what that means is something funny is going on with my heart, which has kind of caught me off guard- I have never had any problems like that at all before.

My heart rate will sporadically jump from like 75 to 160 in seconds and then drop back down.
My blood pressure is normal.

I feel fine I just get a bit lightheaded when it happens.

We work out, and eat super clean- gluten free and largely organic.
With some people, sometimes your blood levels can be all thrown off just from being pregnant. So, they checked all of my blood levels- thyroid, electrolytes, iron, everything- but it all came back totally normal. So it's not stemming from any imbalances or anything like that.

What on earth is this mystery tachycardia coming from?

My OB called me today and she already had scheduled me an appointment in 2 days with a cardiologist at IMC.

Kind of frustrating! When I got the last monitor off they said if anything comes back abnormal I would have to be on one for 30 days!! What! That just sounds ridiculous. We are going out of town for like almost the next month besides that. I so so so hope they don't make me do that.

I do not want to be all hooked up to a monitor while on our first trip to Hawaii:( It makes me sad thinking about the idea of of if I can still go, not being able to even get in the water and enjoy it all:(

I feel so lucky to even have the chance to go. I so so hope that I can get out of wearing that thing again.

Anyways, we won't know any more details until after my appointment on Thursday with the cardiologist, but hopefully it isn't anything crazy and by some chance it's somehow just some sort of pregnancy thing. (I hope)

I just wanted to post this to see if anyone else had tachycardia during pregnancy similar to this, and if so, what did you do?

**PS, thanks for all of your comments and messages about my questions last week! I think I have some hope to find at least some cute things:)

23 Weeks

Baby Beck:

>>23 weeks old
>>11.38 inches long
>>weighs 1.1 pounds
>>the size of an eggplant
>>17 weeks left!

How far along? 23 weeks 1 day

Total weight gain/loss: Should be 10-15.7 pounds according to my book. I am at 9 but I think she will have grown a ton this week due to how tired and hungry I have been!

Maternity clothes?  Just lots of leggings and loose tops still. I am starting to worry about winter and coat situations?! I wonder if they even make cute maternity coats?

Stretch marks? Not yet :) still trying to avoid those

Sleep: Good. Have to pee like a crazy woman though

Movement: A ton. She is crazy! Can finally see it on the outside now sometimes. You know what is so cute- I realized yesterday she starts moving lots more than usual for a few minutes when Mitch first comes home.  Like she totally knows he is there! So cute.

Mitch can feel her, and a funny thing I remembered from a few weeks ago was when I was feeling her kick, and told Mitch to hurry and put his hand on my stomach. He sat there and waited and waited, and finally looked up at me and said with 100% seriousness, "Your baby does zero tricks." I don't really know why but it almost made me pee my pants from laughing so hard.
Now he knows that she does:)

Food cravings:I have never been so freaking hungry in my whole entire life. I eat and 10 minutes later I am ravished like I haven't eaten all day. Not even kidding. I will eat anything, but still my favorite thing to eat of all time right now is just a plain avocado sprinkled with salt, toasted on a pan for a few minutes. And sometimes with an over-easy egg on top. Mmmm. I have converted Mitch as well. :)
SOUR THINGS!! Oh my gosh. Not so much craving the sweet things.. but like Sour Patch and Shockers.. oh my. I was craving them so bad the other day at work that Dr. B went out and bought me this JUMBO bag of sour patch! ha BEST boss ever!!!
And just like the caption says... I have definitely been in sheer bliss for the last couple days. About half that bag is gone.

In addition to those things, I am loving grapefruit and raspberries. Oh and plain vanilla yogurt:)

Symptoms: Hungry constantly, and have started having some Braxton Hicks. Is 22 weeks (that is when they started) early to start having them? I feel like it is. They aren't super frequent, but when I have been doing surgery all day or have been working hard, I get them that night.

Also, randomly my heart rate will spike like way, way high. At first we thought it was a hyperthyroid issue since my TSH is a bit low, but tests came back normal. I feel fine, it just starts racing like crazy sometimes, like I can feel it pounding out of my chest. Too many sour patch..? :) haha but really, anyone had that happen before? It will go from like 75-80 and jump into the mid 100's, then back down again. Kind of crazy. I am being monitored and they will hopefully have some idea of what is going on in a few days. I don't think it is anything serious though.

Have you started to show yet:Definitely! I think she is having a growth spurt because I have been hungrier than ever.. and I think my tummy is getting rounder by the day.

Gender:Still a girl:)

Belly Button in or out?  in

Mood: Happy! And a little tired- I think that again has something to do with her growing a lot extra this week. But happy!

Weekly Wisdom: Clean house=happy wife. My husband knows this too well, and spent so much time with laundry and helping me out just out of the sweetness of his heart the other day:) I cannot function when I feel like our house is out of order. He is a GEM and knows when to pitch in:)

Looking forward to: SO much!!!!
  • First we have a baby shower with my side of the family, a joint one with my cousin who is due 8 weeks before we are. That is in a few weeks! My main registry is at Target, and I think I am registered for what we need? I would love if any moms out there want to hop on and view my registry here, and comment below if there is anything else you think I should register for.
  • Secondly, an unexpected trip to MAUI that I am out of my mind about!!! Seriously cannot believe it! We leave the weekend before Thanksgiving.

**I do have a question though. All of the clothes that fit me right now are fall/wintery. And Hawaii right now is mid 80's. I am wondering WHERE on earth to get a few summery things that will fit me.. including a swimsuit or two?! Or is swimsuit fabric stretchy enough that I don't need to worry about it? Ha ha. Any suggestions?
  • Thirdly, I am so excited about a second babymoon we will have, to New York at the beginning of December! Mitch will be out there for work and we decided I am going to fly out and we will spend a few days there having fun before Christmas:)

Another question: When did you have your nursery set up? How far along? I still have a lottt to do and buy for it to be even close to ready- basically everything. Any suggestions of when to have it set up by? I keep reading all of these premature stories and so of course I am now worried that I won't be prepared if that happens ha ha.

So much to look forward to and to get ready for.. how on earth am I supposed to do my homework right now?!

20 Week Anatomy Scan

Left:  Little baby face, hand, and tummy:: Right: Little leg, and two feet crossed at the bottom

We had our 20 week anatomy scan today!

I was sooo soo nervous. This is the ultrasound where they can tell if everything is normal, if there are any defects or abnormalities, or if the baby will have any disabilities.

I was literally such a nervous wreck. Mitch was cool as a cucumber, as usual. When I asked him why he wasn't nervous, he said, "Oh, I don't know. I just kind of feel that everything is going to be just fine." of course. Mr. Calm 100% of the time:) such a good thing I married him, seriously.

So, we got to the office and filled out oh, 30 minutes of paperwork listing every genetic defect and issue at birth that a person could have, seeing if either one of our families had histories of those things, etc. ... which of course made me more nervous thinking of all the things that could go wrong.

I finished the paperwork and glanced over to see where Mitch was. He was previously sitting right in the chair next to me. He was in the corner of the waiting room in the kids section, with a puzzled look on his face, and he was sitting on the ground playing with/staring at a little kid toy. Yep. My husband. It made me laugh so hard. Once again making my nerves chill out a bit. I seriously love, love that man.

We walked back and the sonographer took my weight and blood pressure. Mitch of course was then curious about blood pressure and everything about it, and asked if mine was a bit low, high, medium, you know, every question one can ask. She informed him it was healthy and on the low end, and he asked if she could take his blood pressure too. She laughed and then realized he was serious, so she put it on his arm and said, "Yeah... sure thing! Ha ha sorry, no one has asked me that before!" Mitch watched for his numbers to appear, and at 128/80, he asked, "Do I have high blood pressure?????" He was so concerned. She assured him that no, it is very normal and good and healthy, and that though 120/80 is deemed the perfect healthy, it fluctuates with each person, throughout different times of day, in different situations, etc. She had to keep reassuring him his blood pressure was 100% perfectly healthy. He was still convinced that he had some kind of problem, but then he saw his resting pulse was 60 something, and said "Oh. Nevermind. I think I am actually fine." Honestly!!!!! Hahaha. How can you not love living with that man and bringing him places? He asks 174995 questions everywhere he goes, and is the funniest thing I have ever met. I. Love. Him.

So we finally get to the ultrasound and she puts the scorching hot blue jelly on my belly. She puts the wand on and starts taking measurements of odd, unrecognizable black or grey circles that are on the screen.
"This is the stomach, these are the kidneys, bladder, this is the sdkjwthgvkebrsof part of the brain, etc."She was really zoomed in and... ya we only could recognize the heart as far as organs and internal things go. We were like ya ya... is it normal?? Okay good. Ha ha. So then she started measuring recognizable things like the head, arms and legs, spine, etc. That was way more fun! We could see the baby move, and see where she was at.

Her head is right in the middle of me, with her legs out to my left side. She is facing (usually) my back. So she is tucked right inside where it is hard to get any views of her little face. The sonographer was laughing so hard, she said she had hardly ever seen a baby do that. It was like she was hiding from us. It was hilarious. She would stop and poke my tummy, trying to get baby to turn around, and occasionally she would for a brief second. We caught a little angle of her face above before she hid again:)

She has her hands up by her head/face all the time, and always, always has her little legs crossed. At the gender scan we did at 15 weeks, the sonographer was like, "Um.. your baby is crossing its legs. I don't know if we will be able to see today!" Then after a few pokes then, too, the baby let us take a peek. So why were we not surprised when once again, today at 20 weeks, she still was crossing her legs. The sonographer was like, "what a little girl!" All of her mannerisms are so girly already.

Everything anatomically and everything was completely normal! Hooray! Brain, nuchal translucency, brain/spinal fluid, inside functions/digestive/etc, as well as her little extremities and fingers and toes. All in all, she said we have a perfect little girl. I literally was so relieved. I would love any little person that came to us with any range of issues, but how grateful am I that she is so healthy!!

She said that she is so, so incredibly active that it was hard to even get a still shot a lot of times. She was twisting, turning, bending, kicking... everything. The sonographer was like, "Ya I am pretty sure you'll have a dancer on your hands." Mitch immediately looked straight at me as if to say, "Ya I wonder why.."

She weighs close to 10 ounces. She measures just slightly petite- and is on the smaller side measurement wise but well within normal limits. She has such a cute little body. That, I am happy about come the time that I am 39-40 weeks, thinking about trying to get her out!

It was so fun to see her again! She is so cute and we were talking about how funny she was being already!! It will be fun to have her out to see and meet and play with her.

Oh, and they confirmed the 15 week determination of "girl"... the doctor said, yes you for sure have a little girl on her way!

We went to Fetal Foto at 15 weeks (well, 14 weeks 6 days) to find out the gender and it was literally so fun! Ours isn't in the mall or anything, it is actually right across from our hospital. They have you lay down in your own little room and there is a giant plasma TV in front of you and your husband so you can see everything super well. They take really clear pictures and give you a lot of them. It lasted like 30 minutes of solid ultrasound viewing, and that is so much fun to just sit and watch her move! AND it was so much fun for us to find out early. We definitely recommend it! We loved ours, it is the Fetal Foto in Murray. I went in and just asked for their most basic, basic package to determine gender, and I think we only paid like $35 bucks or so. Anyway for any other pregnant mommas, that is such a fun thing to do! They also have prenatal massages and stuff... which I might start enjoying here pretty soon:)

YAY for babies!!

HALFWAY.

I feel the need to apologize for my really, really being bad at blogging and all... haha it has been um TWO MONTHS almost since my last update. Sorry guys!! A TON has happened since I was 13 weeks along! To start off:

Baby Beck:

>>20 weeks old
>>7 inches long
>>weighs 11 ounces
>>the size of a banana
>>20 weeks left

I have been working close to full time and trying to crunch in as much school as I can since this is my last semester before the baby comes so I took on 15 credits. It is online through BYU which is basically amazing.

I. Love. Doing. School. Online. Ha ha soo recommend it! Taking tests in your bed is awesome!

Anyway, all of that on top of being pregnant and a wife- basically life has been insane.. so good but so busy!

As I mentioned earlier, so much has happened since my last post 7 weeks ago! Here is an update:

How far along? 20 weeks and 1 day
Total weight gain/loss: About 7-8 pounds at my last Dr.'s appointment, which was October 4th. I am now supposed to be gaining about a pound a week! I am slightly under but they say that is normal for your first.
Maternity clothes?  Not specifically maternity, but I have gone out and bought lots more leggings and loose shirts:) I can still fit on all of my pants but one pair... but I mostly just wear stretchy pants:)
Stretch marks? No, thank heavens! And I plan to keep trying to avoid them.
Sleep: Good overall, but I wake up a ton to go to the bathroom. I can also feel it is a bit different turning over from side to side, there is definitely something protruding from my stomach now! I sleep with a pillow between my legs/under my stomach and that helps. I think I will need to get a maternity pillow soon.
Movement: Like crazy!!! When I sit in certain positions or when there is loud music, she goes crazy. I started feeling movement at a little after 15 weeks, but I wasn't sure if it was just my body or actual baby movement. After 16 weeks I knew it was for sure the baby. Ever since then I feel more and more movement, and this week especially it has gotten so strong that you can feel it on the outside.
Food cravings:I have been pickier this week for some reason! However the other day we went to a new restaurant, called CousCous, and they had the most unreal dish I have had in a long time- Pesto Chicken over zucchini noodles. Oh my gosh. Mitch loved what he got there too. Their homemade garbanzo chips and hummus and mango salsa is basically to die for, I ate the entire basket. I want to go again this week to try their Chicken Ratatouille. I am liking not overly sweet things and have been craving different things than usual. Of course about once a week I get my Protein-Style In N Out burger which basically just the burger and toppings wrapped in lettuce (I eat gluten-free) and it is soooo much better that way! So yummy and so much healthier. And only 2 dollas. Mmm.
I crave a lot of veggies and sometimes fruits. Oh I know what I have been eating a lot of lately!! Ok my new fave breakfast/lunch/snack is an over-easy egg on top of a halved avocado. So. So. delish. I bet I have eaten 5 avocados myself in the last 3 days.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Still never have gotten the whole morning sickness deal, thank heavens, I don't know how I got out of that! I am hoping that I don't have a really awful labor or something, to compensate! Ha ha. I do however, despise the faint smell of our new jute rug in our family room. How weird. It doesn't make me sick or anything, but it just really bugs me? Ha I have tried febreezing the heck out of it, airing it out on the balcony all day, you name it. I don't think I should wash it, so I am just hoping the new-rug smell will eventually fade. Ha ha I am so weird I know.
Have you started to show yet:YES. My sister/brother in law came over last weekend and when I opened the door they were both like, "Whoa!! You have totally popped!!" Ha ha. And when Mitch came home from his 4 day work trip last week, he was shocked at how much I had grown. I guess last week really had a lot of growth! But yes, you can totally tell there is a soccer-ball sized something protruding from my stomach now. For some reason you can tell especially when I lay down. Like it is a legit perfect half-circle. Mitch is always saying, "It is so freaking crazy that something is growing in you and that your body is changing like that!" I think it is as much of a shock to him as it is to me. It just looks so different than it used to!
Gender prediction: We found out at 15 weeks (because yes, we are that impatient) that we are having a girl. We are so excited! That will be validated so we know for sure tomorrow I guess, at our 20 week scan, but it is 99% likely she is a girl:) We have 2 and kind of 3 names (one will end up being the middle name most likely) that we both are obsessed over.
Belly Button in or out?  in
Mood: Happy! Feel sooo good to be in the 2nd trimester. I had a really, really lucky and fortunate 1st trimester where my only symptom was pretty much just being a bit more tired, and this 2nd trimester deal is even better! I have felt so good.
Weekly Wisdom: Take time to relax. Lukewarm (not hot) epsom salt baths are super good for you and are really relaxing when you are pregnant. I have had more of an achy back as my stomach grows, so this helps a ton. Also I work on my feet doing surgeries all day so I get a bit tired and achy all over. This can make a gigantic difference in that let alone the unwinding/relaxing factor.
Looking forward to:I don't know if I am looking forward to it, exactly, or not- but we have the 20 week anatomy scan tomorrow morning! I am so so super nervous!  That is overriding the exciting factor today:) For those of you who don't know that is when they basically can tell if the baby is developing normally in almost every aspect, see if there are any defects such as neural tube dysfuctions, anatomy abnormalities, etc. Kinda scary but just hoping baby b is healthy and happy in there.

Here she is, a pic from her 15 week ultrasound where we found out she's a girl! Of course a customary bow/flower had to be added.

I already love her little lips and tummy. I posted this and the one below on instagram, but I have to post them again because they are just too cute not to:

little baby footie

ps. anybody get random nosebleeds during pregnancy?? I swear I get one every day! ha ha it is ridiculous! I looked it up and supposedly its due to hormones (what is new) but I just think it is so weird!
Also a question to moms: Any tips on how to prepare for/not be so nervous for the anatomy scan? I am going to give myself a stroke!

Last note: How are we halfway already?!? It seems like it has completely flown by! The idea that we have only 19 weeks and someodd days left blows my mind. But that is a good thing, we already want her here!

I will post tummy pictures here pretty soon, now that there is something to see! It is hard though because I am usually in scrubs every day and you can't really see a whole lot with those. I will snap a pic next time I actually wear normal clothes!

keep up with us in between my huge gaps of blog posts on insta @beckkai.

13 Weeks

13 weeks!

Baby Beck:

its really hard to write on chalkboards with crappy cheap chalk:)
oh, and that says Georgia Peach.. i was a little off on my measuring:)

How far along? 13 weeks, 5 days
Total weight gain/loss: Not quite sure, but I would guess around 2-3 pounds
Maternity clothes?  Not yet although I am slowly parting from my tighter pants to soft, stretchy ones! Also I can't stand wearing tight shirts... I am sooo in the awkward stage and I much prefer loose fitting ones until I really pop and it's more obvious ha ha.
Stretch marks? No and I am soo hoping to avoid them. Check out my >>Week 12<< post for what I am using.
Sleep: Good for the most part. I'm not needing as much of it (naps, etc) as I did in my first trimester. So that's good! However I have noticed that I wake up kind of achy in my neck/temples/jaw.. I clench my teeth at night a lot more than I used to. I always have at some level, but it seems to be a bit more! Good thing I work in the right field for that:)
Movement: Nope.. hopefully within the next month
Food cravings:Really loving the Protein Style (lettuce wrapped) cheeseburgers from In N Out:):):) mmmm. I can't have wheat, so I've gotten protein style for a while. Can I just say burgers are like 10 times better that way?! You can taste so much more without the bun getting in the way. Anyway, those are soo yummy. Also I am loving hot chocolate (from Holiday) haha. It has been rainy this week and my Texas-acclimated self thinks it is cold at 73 degrees. Still loving watermelon. And cucumbers mmm. We had Thai food from Sawadee in Salt Lake... soo in love with Thai! And that place is the best:)
ALSO SMARTIES. i bought a whole bag full the other day.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Still the same thing! Exhaust smell from cars/motorcycles. So weird. No foods, really. Well the thought of Chinese kind of makes my stomach turn.
Have you started to show yet:Mitch can finally tell, and I definitely can. When I wear tighter clothes (which is rare) others can tell probably I am bigger around the waist.
Gender prediction: Still changing my mind every week! You have 8 days left to guess! Guess over here ----->
Belly Button in or out?  in
Mood: Happy!
Weekly Wisdom: Hmmm.. I would have to say don't forget to do things that make you happy. Really, you're only pregnant for a short time. If you want a different smell in your house just because the current smell makes you sad (ha ha), go buy new scentsys or candles or whatever:) If you really just do not want to fix dinner one night.. take advantage of take out! If you feel like taking a bubble bath just because... do it. If you want to be in sweats all day, now is the time! Pregnancy should be happy! I know some of the littlest things can either turn an entire day around or turn your world upside down and be such a big deal (even though they are little and unimportant things to other nonhormonal people), so don't be afraid to just do things that make you happy. You'll be a happier and better wife for it. Mitch has said, "I would rather you go buy a new candle thing or ask me to pick up take-out if it means you will be happy [aka not hormonal.. he was nice to not say it:) ] when I come home." ha ha ha. I guess there is truth in that!
Looking forward to:Hopefully finding out the gender in 8 days.. next Saturday!!!
